When Jud was remodeling the house, he came across this shoe in the wall. We don’t really know why it was there or who it belonged to. It’s the size of a child’s foot, but clearly was made for a woman, hard to believe anyone had feet that small.
The shoe has Edwin Burge Shoes, Asheville, NC stamped onto the insole. Edwin Burge Shoes was located on Haywood Street.
