Habatat Galleries will be unveiling a new experience as you are invited to “Walk a mile in someone else’s shoes.” Experimental artist, Dori Settles has created 52 unique pate de verre shoes that in scale*, would equal a mile end to end. Each shoe reflects two narratives.
The primary story is that of the individual who donated their shoe while the second is the journey of the creative process. You are invited to immerse yourself in the stories they tell. Embrace the journey, learn the story, and find comfort and healing in something as common as a shoe.
